Leonie started with BRG in 2006 as a Client Services Co-ordinator and then in 2007 moved into the role as Office Manager. Prior to working at BRG Leonie had spent 11 years as PA to the CEO of Comvita.
Leonie was born in Rotorua, however as her father was a banker, spent time in various locations around the North Island. After leaving school she joined the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Communications Rating, leaving 13 years later as a Petty Officer Telecommunications Supervisor. During this time Leonie met her husband Kim and had two children. Melanie and Michael.
Sporting activities have been the main ‘spare time’ focus of the Hinaki household for many years with a rugby obsessed husband and sporty kids. While things have calmed down in this area with Melanie overseas, Leonie still very much enjoys following Michael and his rugby team and waging war with the constant battle to ‘keep fit!’
